Key Responsibilities
Supervise steel fixing and reinforcement (rebar) installation activities on-site
Read and interpret structural drawings and bar bending schedules (BBS)
Coordinate daily site operations with engineers and subcontractors
Ensure all work is executed as per approved drawings and project specifications
Monitor manpower productivity and optimize resource utilization
Conduct quality inspections on reinforcement placement, spacing, and alignment
Enforce safety standards and ensure proper use of PPE at all times
Track daily progress and report site issues, risks, or delays to management
Maintain compliance with international construction standards and project requirements
Requirements & Qualifications
Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in high-rise construction projects
Strong hands-on experience in steel fixing and reinforcement works
Knowledge of international standards such as ACI and BS
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and BBS
Proven leadership and team supervision skills
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with site safety regulations and quality control procedures
