About the Role We're a growing fintech company based in Dubai looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. If you have a solid accounting background, experience working with Chinese companies, and are fluent in Chinese, we'd love to hear from you!
Requirements
3+ years of accounting experience, preferably with Chinese companies
Proficient in Excel and familiar with accounting standards
Experience with accounting software
Professional accounting certification is a plus
Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day financial transactions including expense reimbursements, revenue recognition, and cost accounting
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow)
Provide regular financial reports and analysis to management to support decision-making
Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting; analyze budget variances and provide actionable recommendations
Deliver accurate financial data to support project and departmental planning
Help optimize financial processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy
Assist in establishing and maintaining internal financial controls to ensure compliance
Support external audit processes by providing necessary financial data and documentation
