Davidson Management Consultants have been mandated to recruit a western trained, native Arabic speaking Consultant Colorectal Surgeon for their client in Abu Dhabi, UAE which is a leading multispecialty hospital with a comprehensive digestive disease and colorectal program delivering advanced surgical care for benign and malignant colorectal conditions.We are looking for Tier 1 Board Certified, Fellowship trained Colorectal Surgeons with Western qualifications such as ABMS (USA), CCT/CCST (UK), RCPSC (Canada), or equivalent credentials recognized by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, with a minimum of 10 to 12 years of post-specialty experience in high-volume tertiary care hospitals.

The Consultant Colorectal Surgeon will be responsible for the diagnosis and surgical management of a wide range of colorectal conditions including colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticular disease, anorectal disorders, pelvic floor dysfunction, and complex benign colorectal conditions.Perform advanced colorectal procedures including laparoscopic and robotic resections, sphincter-preserving surgeries, stoma creation and reversal, and complex anorectal surgeries.
Ensure comprehensive pre-operative assessment, staging, and treatment planning in coordination with multidisciplinary teams including gastroenterologists, oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and specialized nursing teams.
Deliver high-quality perioperative and postoperative care, implementing enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) protocols and ensuring optimal clinical outcomes.
Participate actively in multidisciplinary tumor boards, IBD clinics, and clinical case discussions to ensure integrated and patient-centered care.Develop and implement evidence-based clinical pathways, colorectal protocols, and quality improvement initiatives aligned with international standards.
Contribute to clinical audits, morbidity and mortality reviews, and accreditation processes to maintain high standards of clinical governance.
Engage in research, clinical trials, and academic activities to advance colorectal surgery services within the hospital.
Supervise and mentor junior surgeons, residents, and clinical staff, contributing to structured training and professional development programs.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with Department of Health regulations and hospital policies while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, ethics, and clinical excellence.

Salary : Aed 105,000 per month plus family benefits (Salary mentioned in the advertisement is indicative. The final offer lies at the discretion of the client and will be made after completion of interviews)
