MEP Project Engineer – Electrical Engineer
3-4 years of relevant experience in the UAE, specifically in MEP contracting companies, with hands-on expertise in electrical design, execution, site supervision, estimation, and project documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
1)Design and review electrical systems as per project requirements and applicable standards.
2)Plan, execute, and supervise electrical works on-site ensuring quality and timely delivery.
3)Prepare and verify Bill of Quantities (BOQ), material take-offs, and cost estimations for electrical works.
4)Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
5)Prepare and manage project-related documentation including technical submittals, shop drawings, method statements, inspection requests, and as-built drawings.
6)Ensure compliance with DEWA and other local authority regulations.
7)Participate in testing, commissioning, and final handover processes.
8)Monitor project progress and assist in preparing progress reports.
Qualifications & Skills:
1)Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
2)3-4 years of hands-on UAE experience in MEP project execution and coordination.
3)Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design/estimation software.
4)Strong knowledge of DEWA regulations and local authority procedures.
5)Excellent communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
