Job Location : Al Ain, UAE
Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in special education
• Valid and certified UAE teaching license
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as SEN Teacher.
• IELTS score of 6 or above for non-native English speakers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge, pedagogical practice, and interpersonal skills to engage students and foster a love of learning.
• Plan lessons that take full account of students’ individual learning needs, learning styles, preferences, and abilities.
• Deliver a range of learning opportunities and activities that enrich and enhance the taught curriculum.
• Engage and motivate students to achieve outcomes beyond their expectations and previous attainment levels.
• Make effective use of ICT and emerging technologies to enhance the quality of teaching and learning across all age groups and ability levels.
• Observe, assess, and accurately record students’ progress in line with school policies and procedures.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of students and staff during all school activities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to establish and maintain fair, consistent, and positive behavior management across classrooms, the wider school, and school trips.
• Communicate openly, professionally, and regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and attainment.
• Maintain high levels of confidentiality when communicating with parents and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to and support after-school activities, events, and school initiatives as required.
