Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor HSE policies across oil & gas operations and site activities
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
Ensure full compliance with Qatar energy sector regulations and HSE standards
Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and safety awareness training
Monitor Permit to Work (PTW) systems to ensure safe work practices
Investigate incidents and near misses, and recommend corrective actions
Maintain accurate HSE documentation and prepare reports
Coordinate effectively with site teams, contractors, and client representatives
Mandatory Requirements:
3–5 years of experience in Qatar as a Safety Officer in oil & gas projects (mandatory)
NEBOSH IGC (International General Certificate) mandatory certification
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, PTW systems, and risk management practices
Familiarity with Qatar Labor Law and industry safety standards
Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
Proven ability to enforce and promote a zero-incident safety culture
