We are seeking an experienced Civil / Structural Engineer with strong expertise in major Oil & Gas projects to support engineering, design, construction, and site execution activities for large-scale industrial and energy infrastructure projects in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in structural analysis, foundation design, steel structures, and multidisciplinary coordination within EPC Oil & Gas environments.
Key Responsibilities
Perform civil and structural engineering design and review for Oil & Gas facilities.
Prepare and review structural calculations, design drawings, specifications, and material take-offs.
Design and analyze:
Steel structures
Pipe racks
Equipment foundations
Concrete structures
Industrial buildings
Underground structures
Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes, and client standards.
Coordinate with mechanical, piping, electrical, telecom, and process engineering teams.
Review vendor drawings and subcontractor submissions.
Support construction, installation, and site supervision activities.
Conduct site inspections and resolve structural or construction-related issues.
Participate in HAZOP, constructability reviews, and technical meetings.
Support QA/QC, commissioning, and project handover activities.
Prepare engineering reports, progress updates, and technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Minimum 8–15 years of experience in Oil & Gas, refinery, petrochemical, or EPC projects.
Strong experience in onshore/offshore Oil & Gas facilities.
GCC/Middle East project experience preferred.
Proficiency in structural engineering software such as:
STAAD Pro
ETABS
SAP2000
SAFE
AutoCAD
Tekla (preferred)
Experience working with major Oil & Gas companies and EPC contractors such as: Saudi Aramco
Technical Knowledge
Strong understanding of:
AISC, BS, Eurocode, API, and ASTM standards
RCC & structural steel design
Foundation and geotechnical coordination
Blast-resistant and industrial structures
Seismic and wind load analysis
Modular structure design
Offshore structural requirements (preferred)
Construction methodologies and site execution
