Hiring for a qualified and experienced to join our team for steel fabrication, piping, erection, and cement factory shutdown maintenance projects in the UAE.

Industry: Steel Fabrication / Construction / Shutdown Maintenance
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures at site and workshop
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards
Maintain ISO-related safety documentation, inspections, audits, and records
Conduct toolbox talks, site inspections, and safety observations
Must be familiar with ISO requirements.
Must be able to prepare all required project HSE documentation.
Monitor high-risk activities including:
Work at Height
Hot Work
Lifting Operations
Scaffolding Activities
Confined Space Entry
Shutdown Maintenance Activities
Prepare and review JSA/JHA, risk assessments, permits, method statements, and rescue plans
Ensure proper PPE compliance across workforce and subcontractors
Conduct emergency drills and incident investigations
Coordinate with client HSE representatives and attend safety meetings
Maintain HSE reports, training records, inspection checklists, and audit documentation
Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years of experience as Safety Officer in steel fabrication, construction, or shutdown maintenance projects
Experience in cement factory shutdown maintenance is preferred
NEBOSH certification is mandatory
Strong knowledge of scaffolding safety, lifting operations, and permit-to-work systems
Familiarity with UAE HSE regulations and client safety requirements.
Candidate must be proficient in using AI tools related to HSE, documentation, reporting, and site operations.
Good communication and reporting skills
UAE experience madatory.
