Role Overview
Responsible for leading the group’s artificial intelligence strategy across all venues and markets. Acting as the central AI lead, the role oversees AI governance, implementation, training, and market research to ensure AI initiatives are practical, aligned, and commercially effective. Working closely with all departments, the role supports day-to-day operations, drives AI integration across existing and new businesses, and manages the group’s long-term AI roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
CAI Governance: Manage AI standards, policies, vendors, compliance, and tool approvals across all venues and markets. Maintain oversight of AI systems, contracts, costs, data handling, and regulatory requirements, including GDPR and regional data protection standards.
Strategy & Initiative Design: Identify operational and commercial opportunities for AI across the business. Develop business cases, prioritise initiatives, and maintain an AI roadmap covering areas such as guest experience, marketing, reporting, inventory, and finance.
Implementation: Lead the rollout of AI initiatives across Head Office and venues, including vendor management, system integrations, testing, deployment, and performance tracking. Ensure solutions are operationally effective and fully embedded into the business.
Pre-Opening AI Integration: Support all new venue openings by implementing AI systems, frameworks, reporting structures, and training programmes during the pre-opening phase. Adapt AI standards to local market and regulatory requirements.
Training & Adoption: Develop training materials, SOPs, and workshops for teams across all departments and markets. Support AI adoption through practical training and ongoing operational support.
Market Intelligence: Monitor developments in AI, hospitality technology, and F&B innovation. Attend industry events, evaluate new technologies, and provide recommendations to support business improvement and long-term competitiveness.
Performance Measurement: Track AI performance across all projects and venues, including cost savings, efficiency gains, revenue impact, and adoption rates. Provide regular reporting to senior leadership and manage ongoing optimisation of AI investments.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Data Science, or related field is required
5–8 years of experience in AI, digital transformation, or innovation roles
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and cloud-based tools, with coding proficiency
Strong understanding of AI tools, automation, and data-driven solutions, including governance and data privacy
Ability to monitor AI and technology trends in the region and translate them into practical business applications
Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills with a commercial mindset
Ability to map out and implement AI strategies, and identify operational gaps that could be improved using AI
