Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to develop, design, and review electrical systems for industrial, commercial, or construction projects. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge in electrical design, calculations, drawings, and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare electrical design drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
Design power distribution systems, lighting systems, control panels, and low-current systems.
Perform electrical load calculations and cable sizing.
Prepare single-line diagrams (SLD), schematics, and BOQ.
Ensure designs comply with international standards and local regulations.
Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and project teams.
Review shop drawings and technical submittals.
Support project execution and resolve technical issues on site.
Attend project meetings and provide technical support to clients.
Optimize electrical systems for safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 3–8 years of experience in electrical design engineering.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Dialux, ETAP, or related design software.
Knowledge of IEC, NEC, or local electrical standards.
Strong understanding of LV/MV systems.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Experience in MEP/Construction/Industrial projects preferred.
Preferred Skills
Experience with BIM/Revit software.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
