Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer (MEP) to design, develop, and review mechanical systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in HVAC, plumbing, firefighting systems, and MEP design coordination.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Prepare mechanical design drawings, layouts, calculations, and technical specifications.
✅ Design HVAC systems, including chilled water, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems.
✅ Prepare plumbing and firefighting system designs in accordance with project requirements.
✅ Perform heat load calculations and equipment selection.
✅ Prepare BOQs, material submittals, and technical reports.
✅ Coordinate with electrical, civil, and architectural disciplines.
✅ Review shop drawings and ensure compliance with project specifications.
✅ Ensure all designs comply with international standards and local authority regulations.
✅ Provide technical support during project execution and site activities.
✅ Attend client meetings and project coordination meetings.
Requirements
✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
✔ Minimum 3–8 years of experience in MEP mechanical design.
✔ Proficiency in AutoCAD, HAP, Revit MEP, or similar engineering software.
✔ Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
✔ Familiarity with ASHRAE, NFPA, and UAE local authority standards.
✔ Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
✔ Experience in high-rise, commercial, residential, or industrial projects is preferred.
✔ Must be currently residing in the UAE.
Preferred Skills
⭐ Experience in BIM and Revit coordination.
⭐ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
⭐ Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
