Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Delivery Manager to lead engineering delivery and operational excellence for AI-driven projects and solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining engineering strategies, managing project delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Define and lead engineering and operational strategies, including processes, practices, and tools for AI-related projects.
✅ Ensure high-quality project delivery while meeting established timelines and budget objectives.
✅ Manage project planning, milestone reviews, risk assessments, and progress tracking throughout the development lifecycle.
✅ Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align project objectives with business needs.
✅ Identify and resolve project bottlenecks to optimize workflow efficiency and value delivery.
✅ Mentor and develop AI Delivery Managers and project teams through coaching and professional development initiatives.
✅ Promote engineering excellence, innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge-sharing practices.
✅ Coordinate resources, establish priorities, and ensure effective project execution across multiple teams.
✅ Support governance, reporting, and performance management activities.
Engineering Skills
✔ Proven experience leading engineering teams delivering complex software products and technology projects.
✔ Strong expertise in Lean Management and Agile methodologies.
✔ Experience applying collaborative co-engineering and cross-functional development practices.
✔ Strong understanding of complex, multi-component system architectures.
Technical Skills
✔ Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management and Software Delivery.
✔ Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar project management tools.
✔ Experience designing secure, scalable, and high-performance data architectures for AI solutions.
✔ Experience working closely with Data Scientists, AI Engineers, Software Engineers, and Solution Architects.
✔ Expertise in defining, monitoring, and improving project performance indicators and KPIs.
✔ Ability to make informed decisions within complex technical and mission-critical environments.
✔ Strong understanding of cybersecurity, governance, and data sovereignty requirements.
Qualifications
✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
✔ Minimum 12+ years of overall professional experience.
✔ Proven experience managing engineering delivery, software development, or AI-related projects.
