Job Position – Claims Manager

Location: Dubai & Sharjah
To lead and manage contractual claims, variations, disputes, and entitlement matters across construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead preparation, submission, and negotiation of claims including:
-Extension of Time (EOT)
-Prolongation cost
-Disruption & acceleration claims
-Variations
Review contracts, notices, and project records to identify claim opportunities and entitlements Coordinate with planning teams for:
-Time Impact Analysis (TIA)
-Time-Sliced Window Analysis
-Critical Path Review & schedule substantiation
Quantify cost impacts in coordination with commercial and finance teams
Review and respond to client, consultant, subcontractor, and supplier claims/counterclaims
Maintain claims registers, notices trackers, and documentation logs
Ensure all contractual notices are issued within prescribed timelines
Draft delay notices, disruption notices, and reservation of rights letters
Provide contractual advice on risk mitigation and dispute avoidance strategies
Participate in negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions
Liaise with legal advisors in arbitration, adjudication, or litigation matters
Prepare management reports on claims exposure, recoveries, and strategies
Ensure compliance with FIDIC and other applicable contract frameworks
Identify lessons learned and recommend improvements in contract management processes
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Experience:
Minimum 15 years of proven experience in Claims Management within the construction industry
Technical Skills:
Proven expertise in Primavera P6 (mandatory); MS Project is an advantage
Strong knowledge of SCL Protocol, FIDIC, AACE International guidelines, and DIAC procedures
Advanced experience in delay analysis techniques
