Head of Mathematics (HOD)
Job Location : Dubai, UAE
Key Responsibilities :
• Lead and manage the Mathematics Department effectively.
• Supervise, mentor, and support Mathematics teaching staff.
• Ensure high academic standards and improved student outcomes.
• Develop lesson plans, assessments, and departmental teaching strategies.
• Promote innovation and excellence in mathematics teaching and learning.
• Monitor curriculum implementation and ensure compliance with school standards.
• Coordinate with academic leadership to enhance overall educational performance.
Requirements :
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics.
• Teaching qualification such as B.Ed or PGCE preferred.
• Proven leadership experience in an educational institution.
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
• UAE curriculum experience is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum planning, student performance evaluation, classroom management, educational assessment, teacher mentoring, and departmental coordination.
