Job Title: Plumber
Key Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain water supply, drainage, sewage, and sanitary systems.
Read and interpret plumbing drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Install and repair pipes, valves, fittings, fixtures, water heaters, pumps, and related equipment.
Detect and repair leaks, blockages, and other plumbing issues.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plumbing systems.
Test plumbing systems for proper functionality and compliance with standards.
Install and maintain bathroom and kitchen fixtures, including sinks, toilets, showers, and faucets.
Ensure all plumbing work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
Respond to emergency plumbing repairs and service calls.
Maintain records of maintenance activities and materials used.
Requirements
ITI, Trade Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Plumbing.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Plumber.
Strong knowledge of water supply, drainage, sewage, and piping systems.
Ability to read and understand plumbing drawings and layouts.
Experience in pipe fitting, installation, and maintenance.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with plumbing tools, equipment, and safety practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
