Primary Homeroom Teacher
Job Location : Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities :
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered classroom environment.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.
• Develop lesson plans, learning materials, and classroom activities that enhance student engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues, school leadership, and parents to support student success.
• Maintain accurate academic records and contribute to school improvement initiatives.
• Participate in professional development activities and school events as required.
Requirements :
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related subject area.
• PGCE, PGDE, or another recognised teaching qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in the same subject area within the UAE.
• Strong communication, classroom management, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a diverse and collaborative educational environment.
• Willingness to work in Khalifa City A, Abu Dhabi.
• Strong knowledge of subject-specific teaching methodologies and curriculum delivery.
• Strong knowledge of student assessment, lesson planning, classroom management, educational technology, and modern teaching practices.
• Non-native English speakers applying for subject teaching roles must possess a minimum IELTS overall band score of 7.5.
• Non-native English-speaking primary teachers must have a minimum IELTS Speaking/Oral band score of 8.0.
