Davidson Management Consultants have been mandated to recruit western trained and native Arabic speaking Clinical Psychologists for their client in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia which is an international chain of mental health clinics providing comprehensive outpatient mental health, behavioral health, and psychological services.
We are looking for Psychologists with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology followed by a Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a minimum of 3 to 8 years of post-qualification experience within mental health clinics, behavioral health centers, psychiatric hospitals, or counseling environments. Western education and Arabic language skills would be an advantage.
The Clinical Psychologist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnostic evaluations, clinical interviews, behavioral observations, and administration of standardized psychometric and psychological testing tools to assess cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and psychological functioning. Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to the unique needs of each patient.Provide individual psychotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, and psychological counseling services for patients presenting with anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma-related conditions, obsessive-compulsive disorders, personality disorders, adjustment disorders, stress-related conditions, and other mental health concerns. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and other appropriate interventions.Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, counselors, social workers, and multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure coordinated and integrated patient care. Participate in case conferences, treatment planning meetings, clinical reviews, and multidisciplinary discussions to optimize patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments where required, including assessment of self-harm, suicide risk, and other high-risk clinical situations. Develop safety plans and appropriate intervention strategies in collaboration with the wider clinical team.Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, treatment notes, psychological reports, and documentation in accordance with Saudi healthcare regulations, ethical standards, and organizational policies. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, accreditation activities, and continuous professional development programs.Contribute to mental health awareness programs, psychoeducation initiatives, and community outreach activities aimed at promoting psychological wellbeing and reducing stigma associated with mental health conditions. Support the clinic's commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based, and patient-centered mental healthcare services.
Salary : SAR 30,000 per month plus benefits (Salary mentioned in the advertisement is indicative. The final offer lies at the discretion of the client and will be made after completion of interviews).
