Davidson Management Consultants have been mandated to recruit a western educated, native Arabic speaking Occupational Therapist for their client in UAE which is a specialized hospital and rehabilitation facility providing comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, and residential rehabilitation services. We are looking for candidates who hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and have a minimum of 2 years of full-time clinical work experience gained after completion of their highest occupational therapy qualification.
The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized occupational therapy programs for patients with physical, neurological, cognitive, developmental, and psychosocial impairments. Conduct comprehensive functional assessments to evaluate activities of daily living, mobility, cognitive functioning, sensory processing, upper limb function, environmental barriers, and rehabilitation needs. Develop patient-centered treatment plans aimed at maximizing independence, functional performance, safety, and quality of life.Provide occupational therapy interventions for patients recovering from neurological conditions, stroke, traumatic injuries, orthopedic conditions, chronic illnesses, and other complex rehabilitation needs. Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions including activities of daily living training, cognitive rehabilitation, upper extremity rehabilitation, adaptive equipment prescription, environmental modification recommendations, sensory integration techniques, and functional mobility training.
Work closely with rehabilitation physicians, physiotherapists, speech therapists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated rehabilitation planning and continuity of care. Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences, treatment planning meetings, family meetings, and discharge planning discussions. Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding rehabilitation goals, adaptive strategies, home modifications, assistive devices, and long-term management plans to support successful reintegration into home, work, school, and community environments. Conduct home assessments and recommend appropriate interventions where required. Monitor patient progress, reassess functional outcomes, and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve rehabilitation goals. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, progress notes, assessment reports, discharge summaries, and outcome measures in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, accreditation activities, and continuing professional development programs. Ensure compliance with ethical practice standards, UAE healthcare regulations, patient safety requirements, and clinical governance frameworks while contributing to the organization's commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based rehabilitation services.
Salary : Aed 22,000 per month plus family benefits (Salary mentioned in the advertisement is indicative. The final offer lies at the discretion of the client and will be made after completion of interviews).
