Sama International School in Khalifa City A, Abu Dhabi, is looking for a talented Inclusion/SEN Teacher to join our team!
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Special Education, Inclusion or a related field.
- A teaching qualification/license such as PGCE or PGDE.
- Strong understanding and experience in developing and implementing Individual Education Plan (IEPs).
- Knowledge of differentiation, intervention strategies and inclusive teaching practices.
- Familiarity with American Curriculum (Common Core) and IB (MYP/CP) curriculum frameworks is an advantage.
- Training in Safeguarding and child protection and Behavior management and intervention is a plus.
English IELTS score of 7.5 required.
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in inclusion/SEN, preferably with higher grade students.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with subject teachers and leadership teams
Strong documentation and reporting aligned with ADEK or school inspection frameworks.
Preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual in English and Arabic.
