Electrical Engineer
Job Location : Kuwait
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
• Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical engineering within oil & gas production facilities or refineries
• Strong knowledge of PTW systems, confined space entry, electrical isolation procedures, operating integrity, H2S / SO2 safety standards, and PPE compliance
• Excellent understanding of electrical safety standards and protection practices
• Ability to review, analyze, and improve electrical maintenance strategies and procedures
• Experience in operation, start-up, and synchronization of multiple generators
• Strong troubleshooting and performance analysis of generator systems
• Experience with Gas Turbine Generators will be an added advantage
• Hands-on experience in maintenance and engineering support for ABB MV & LV breakers
• Knowledge of troubleshooting MV switchgear and breaker systems
• Strong understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices for LV Air Circuit Breakers
• Experience with power transformers PM & CM activities
• Experience with Medium Voltage VFDs and Soft Starters
• Familiarity with Low Voltage VFD systems
• Ability to support commissioning, troubleshooting, and system optimization
Education Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Additional certifications or training in electrical systems, protection, or industrial maintenance will be an advantage
