Financial Controller
Location: Kuwait
A leading company in the Healthcare sector is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Financial Controller to lead its finance function and support the company's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
Manage banking relationships and negotiate financing arrangements.
Oversee cash and non-cash facilities, working capital, and cash flow management.
Manage Letters of Credit (LCs), Letters of Guarantee (LGs), trade finance, and other corporate banking requirements.
Monitor inventory financing, supplier payments, and financial controls.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, regulatory requirements, and internal control policies.
Support management with financial analysis and strategic decision-making.
Requirements
Must be in Kuwait with transferable residency.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification preferred (CPA, CMA, ACCA, CFA).
8+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
Strong banking and corporate finance experience.
Proven experience managing LCs, LGs, trade finance, and banking facilities.
Experience in medical equipment, healthcare supplies, distribution, trading, or similar sectors is highly preferred.
Advanced ERP and Excel skills.
