Urgent Hiring: Electrical Site Engineer (MEP Projects)
Position: Electrical Site Engineer
Department: MEP
Location: Project Site
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor electrical installation works at site, including power, lighting, low-current systems, fire alarm systems, and earthing systems.
Review electrical drawings, specifications, and shop drawings before execution.
Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and other disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
Ensure all electrical works comply with local authority regulations, project specifications, and international standards.
Prepare material requisitions and monitor material availability at site.
Conduct site inspections and ensure quality workmanship according to approved standards.
Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Attend site meetings and coordinate project activities with stakeholders.
Identify and resolve technical issues during project execution.
Verify measurements and quantities for progress billing and subcontractor payments.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.
Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspections and approvals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 3–7 years of experience in MEP construction projects.
Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or high-rise building projects.
Knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and testing procedures.
Familiarity with local electrical codes and standards.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
Required Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
Strong knowledge of electrical installation and commissioning.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and coordination abilities.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Experience
Experience in GCC/UAE MEP projects.
Knowledge of DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, Civil Defense, and other authority requirements.
Experience in testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
Valid UAE Driving License (preferred).
