Draughtsman – AutoCAD
Job Location : Dubai, UAE
Primary Accountabilities :
• Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Develop technical layouts for commercial, residential, retail, and interior fit-out projects.
• Interpret project specifications, consultant drawings, and engineering design requirements.
• Coordinate fluidly with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and production teams.
• Ensure absolute accuracy and compliance of all drawings with established project standards.
• Revise and update structural drawings based on shifting project requirements and site conditions.
• Maintain organized drawing registries and documentation logs throughout project execution.
• Support site teams with technical drafting and real-time design-related problem solving.
Core Competencies :
• Certification: Mandatory AutoCAD Certification is required.
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of dedicated UAE interior fit-out drafting experience.
• Education: Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Software Skills: High proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, and Photoshop is preferred.
• Languages: Good communication skills in both English and Hindi.
• Availability: Immediate joiners or candidates with a maximum 30-day notice period are preferred.
