Key responsibilities:
- Manage the full accounting cycle and day-to-day bookkeeping in Tally.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns (VAT filing) independently, ensuring full compliance with UAE FTA requirements and deadlines (mandatory).
- Process payroll and salary transfers through the WPS via Al Ansari Exchange.
- Prepare sales reports and accurately calculate sales commissions.
- Carry out the finalisation of books.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing, including bank, ledger, and account reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Support internal and external audits and assist with financial reporting
- Liaise with banks, auditors, and relevant authorities as needed.
Requirements (must-have):
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
Proven, independent experience with UAE VAT filing.
Hands-on experience processing WPS / payroll via Al Ansari.
Proficiency in Tally is mandatory.
Ability to independently prepare sales reports, calculate commissions, and handle the finalisation of books.
Solid knowledge of UAE accounting standards and tax regulations.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
