Job Location : UAE

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting & Design: Prepare detailed 2D and 3D working plans, shop drawings, and installation drawings for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Protection systems.
• Coordination: Overlay MEP drawings with Architectural and Structural layouts (specifically Reflected Ceiling Plans and wall elevations) to identify and resolve clashes in tight fit-out spaces (e.g., ceiling voids, partitions).
• Site Verification: Conduct site surveys to gather accurate measurements and verify existing site conditions prior to drafting.
• As-Built Drawings: Continuously update drawings based on site changes and prepare final, highly accurate As-Built drawings upon project handover.
• Compliance: Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, client requirements, and local authority regulations (e.g., DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence).
• Material Take-offs: Assist project engineers and estimators by extracting accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and material take-offs from approved drawings.
• Document Control: Maintain an organized filing system for all latest revisions of drawings, ensuring the site team is always working from the most current versions.Travel Guides & Travelogues

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related technical field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience as an MEP Draftsman, specifically within the interior fit-out or interior contracting sector.
• Software Proficiency: Expert level in AutoCAD (2D and 3D).
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of MEP systems, symbols, and terminology, as well as how they interact with interior design elements (joinery, acoustic partitions, decorative ceilings).
• Local Knowledge: Familiarity with local building codes and authority approval drawing standards is highly preferred.

• Time Management: Proven ability to manage multiple project deadlines in a fast-paced fit-out environment.
• Communication: Strong English communication skills to effectively collaborate with site teams, designers, and subcontractors.
• Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to suggesting rerouting or design alternatives when clashes occur.
