Procurement Engineer
Job Location : Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Core Duties :
• Source and procure materials, equipment, and services according to project requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, and store teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery.
• Prepare comparison statements and procurement reports.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain vendor databases.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and project specifications.
• Follow up on purchase orders and delivery schedules to avoid project delays.
Skills & Experience :
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Procurement Engineer in Infrastructure and Wet Utilities projects.
• Experience procuring materials, equipment, and subcontract packages related to infrastructure, sewerage, stormwater, water transmission, and utility projects.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and material sourcing.
• Ability to review technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems.
• Strong negotiation, supplier evaluation, and communication skills.
