Position: Electrical 2D Draftsman (MEP Projects)
📍 Location: UAE
⏳ Experience: 2–5 Years in MEP Projects as an Electrical Draftsman
✅ Immediate Joiners Preferred
✅ Candidates Must Be Available in UAE
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and revise 2D electrical shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction drawings.
• Draft electrical layouts including power, lighting, emergency lighting, low-current systems, and cable routing.
• Coordinate with MEP engineers and other disciplines to ensure accurate and clash-free drawings.
• Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD), panel schedules, and load distribution drawings.
• Modify drawings as per project requirements and consultant comments.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, project specifications, and industry standards.
• Maintain drawing registers and document control procedures.
• Assist in quantity take-offs and material estimation from drawings.
• Coordinate with site teams to update as-built drawings based on actual site conditions.
Requirements:
• Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman in MEP projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and electrical drafting software.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring layouts, lighting systems, and low-current systems.
• Familiarity with MEP coordination drawings and construction standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and architectural drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
