Clinical Psychologist – Addiction & Rehabilitation
Carlson Recruiters is currently partnering with a specialized rehabilitation and behavioral health facility in Abu Dhabi to recruit an experienced Clinical Psychologist.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team supporting individuals with substance use disorders, addiction, and co-occurring mental health conditions.
Key Requirements
✔ Master's or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
✔ Minimum 2 years of work experience post home-country license (mandatory)
✔ DOH License or eligibility for DOH licensure in Abu Dhabi
✔ Demonstrable experience in addiction and/or rehabilitation services (mandatory)
✔ Experience conducting psychological assessments and delivering evidence-based interventions
✔ Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical environment
✔ Arabic speaking (mandatory)
✔ Candidates outside the UAE are welcome to apply provided they qualify for licensing
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide evidence-based therapy for individuals with addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and case reviews
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions
• Support relapse prevention, recovery planning, and rehabilitation programs
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes
• Work closely with psychiatrists, social workers, occupational therapists, and nursing teams
