Logistics Accountant
Job Location : UAE
Requirements :
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience, preferably in logistics, construction, or infrastructure industries
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, inventory accounting, and logistics cost control
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, Focus, or similar, plus Microsoft Excel
• Experience in accounts payable, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
• Immediate joiners preferred
Key Responsibilities :
• Manage logistics-related accounting transactions including transport, freight, fuel, and equipment costs
• Verify and process supplier invoices, delivery notes, and logistics service bills
• Prepare purchase orders, goods receipt records, and reconcile logistics expenses
• Monitor inventory movements and coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams
• Maintain records of fleet operating expenses, fuel consumption, and equipment utilization
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies
• Support month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and audit requirements
