QA/QC Inspector (Steel Structure)
Job Location : Kuwait
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-process and final inspections of fabricated steel components, raw materials, and consumables.
• Oversee inspection, testing, and approval of received materials and fabricated components to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Implement inspection hold points at all production stages.
• Perform non-destructive and destructive testing to verify structural integrity.
• Document and report non-conformances and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate quality records and inspection reports.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to improve fabrication processes.
• Assist the Senior QA/QC Engineer in enhancing the company's quality management system.
• Participate in training and development activities to enhance technical and inspection skills.
Qualifications:
• Education: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in QA/QC within steel fabrication or manufacturing industries.
Skills:
• Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, and quality standards.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
