Senior Civil / Architectural Draftsman
Job Location : Dubai, UAE
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparing and revising civil, structural, reinforcement, and architectural shop drawings.
• Producing Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and reinforcement detailing from approved structural drawings.
• Developing detailed construction drawings — foundations, rafts, slabs, beams, columns, walls, and staircases.
• Preparing architectural sections, elevations, details, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinating drawings across structural, MEP, and architectural disciplines to eliminate clashes.
• Ensuring all drawings comply with project specs, standards, and UAE authority requirements.
• Supporting engineers during consultant reviews and responding to technical comments.
• Maintaining drawing registers and tracking timely submission of revisions.Demographics
Requirements:
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of UAE construction drafting experience.
• Expert proficiency in AutoCAD — Revit / BIM knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong hands-on experience in reinforcement detailing and BBS preparation.
• Exposure to villas, high-rise, commercial, and fit-out projects.
• Familiarity with consultant submission requirements and UAE authority standards.
• High attention to detail with ability to meet tight deadlines independently
