HSE Engineer
Job Location : Kuwait
Responsibilities:
• To supervise and manage occupational health and safety activities across all company workplaces, factories, and project sites by implementing safety policies and procedures, monitoring compliance, conducting risk assessments, and executing inspection and awareness programs, ensuring the reduction of accidents and injuries, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, and ensuring compliance with approved occupational health and safety requirements.
• Execute annual operational plans for the Occupational Health and Safety Section with 100% execution compliance in line with approved objectives.
• Supervise the implementation of occupational health and safety policies and procedures across factories, warehouses, and project sites with 100% supervision coverage.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements across all workplaces with a compliance rate of no less than 98%.
• Conduct periodic risk assessments for all operational activities and update them according to operational requirements.
• Monitor the reduction of accidents, injuries, and safety violations in line with approved annual targets.
• Supervise investigations of accidents, injuries, and near misses, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Execute periodic inspection programs and site safety walks across all work locations with 100% execution compliance in line with approved plans.
• Monitor compliance with safety requirements for high-risk activities such as working at height, lifting operations, electrical works, and welding activities.
• Supervise the implementation of occupational health and safety training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
• Monitor employee compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements with 100% compliance.
• Ensure readiness of safety equipment, emergency response plans, and evacuation procedures, and conduct periodic drills.
• Prepare periodic reports on incidents, risks, and performance indicators and submit them to the direct supervisor with 100% compliance.
• Contribute to enhancing safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce risks and increase safety awareness..
Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 8 years of experience in same field.
• Certified in Occupational Safety (NEBOSH، IOSH، OSHA).
