Logistics Supervisor
Job Location : Kuwait
Key Responsibilities:
• Shipment Management: Plan, organize, and track inbound and outbound shipments (Ocean, Air, and Road freight).
• Customs & Compliance: Coordinate customs clearance processes and ensure full compliance with trade regulations.
• Documentation Control: Manage shipping documents (Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, and Customs Declarations).
• Carrier & Vendor Relations: Coordinate and negotiate rates with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport providers.
• Risk Management: Apply proper international commercial terms (Incoterms) to minimize risk and proactively resolve transit or delivery issues.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or import/export operations (supervisory experience preferred).
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of shipping documentation, customs procedures, and international commercial terms.
• Systems: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
Preferred Experience:
• Experience in handling food products, cold chain (temperature-controlled) logistics, or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods.
• A strong network of relationships with regional customs brokers and freight forwarders.
