Davidson Management Consultants have been mandated to recruit a western trained, native Arabic speaking Lead Clinical Psychologist for their client in Dubai, UAE which is a leading international mental health, psychiatry, psychology, counselling, and neuroscience centre providing comprehensive services for adults, adolescents, children, families, and senior citizens. The centre delivers multidisciplinary mental healthcare including psychiatry, clinical psychology, counselling, neuropsychology, child intervention services, occupational therapy, neurofeedback, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), psychological assessments, eating disorder treatment, and functional nutrition within a recovery-focused model of care.We are looking for western trained Clinical Psychologists with a Master's Degree or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a minimum of 10 to 12 years of post-qualification clinical experience, including at least 3 to 5 years in a senior or leadership role within a multidisciplinary mental health clinic, behavioural health centre, or psychiatric hospital. Native Arabic speakers are preferred. Candidates with DHA license or DHA Eligibility will have a distinct advantage.The Lead Clinical Psychologist will be responsible for providing clinical leadership to the psychology department while maintaining an active caseload of adults, adolescents, and where appropriate, family referrals. Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnostic evaluations, psychometric testing, formulation, and evidence-based treatment planning for a broad spectrum of psychiatric and psychological disorders including depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, trauma-related conditions, personality disorders, eating disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, and stress-related conditions. Deliver individual, family, and group psychotherapy utilizing evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, trauma-focused interventions, and other internationally recognized therapeutic approaches.Provide professional supervision, mentoring, and clinical guidance to Clinical Psychologists, Counseling Psychologists, and other mental health professionals while ensuring adherence to evidence-based practice, ethical standards, and clinical governance frameworks. Lead multidisciplinary case conferences, peer review meetings, and complex case discussions in collaboration with Psychiatrists, Occupational Therapists, Counsellors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and patient-centred care.Oversee psychology service quality, develop clinical pathways, standardize assessment and treatment protocols, monitor clinical outcomes, and participate in quality improvement initiatives, accreditation activities, and clinical audits. Contribute to the expansion of specialist psychological services including child and adolescent mental health, neuropsychological assessments, neuroscience-based interventions, and innovative treatment programmes. Support research activities, professional education, community awareness initiatives, and continuing professional development programmes while maintaining accurate clinical documentation in accordance with DHA regulations, ethical guidelines, and international best practices.
Salary : Aed 45,000 per month plus incentives (Salary mentioned in the advertisement is indicative. The final offer lies at the discretion of the client and will be made after completion of interviews).
