Accountant
Job Location : Saudi Arabia
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and reconcile supplier, subcontractor, and vendor accounts, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding balances and discrepancies.
• Prepare, monitor, and analyze cash flow statements, supporting management with accurate cash flow forecasting and reporting.
• Record and maintain amortization schedules, accruals, prepayments, and other month-end accounting adjustments.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and periodic financial closing activities.
• Prepare supplier payment schedules and coordinate payment processing.
• Post accounting entries for payroll provisions, end-of-service benefits (EOSB), leave salary, accruals, and other financial transactions.
• Prepare month-end and year-end journal entries, financial schedules, and management reports (MIS).
• Support internal and external audits by preparing reconciliations, schedules, and audit documentation.
• Maintain accurate, organized, and audit-ready financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, company financial policies, and local tax regulations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce (BCom), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the contracting/construction industry.
• Supplier reconciliations
• Amortization accounting
• Cash flow preparation and reporting
• General ledger and month-end closing activities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Navision, Tally, or any other ERP system.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with good working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, report writing, and financial reporting skills.
• Knowledge of taxation and statutory compliance will be an added advantage.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
