Job Position – Payroll Officer
Company Name – National Cables Industry
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Officer to manage end-to-end payroll operations in full compliance with UAE Labour Law and WPS regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
– Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for all employees
– Ensure compliance with the Wage Protection System (WPS) and timely salary disbursement
– Maintain and update employee records — salaries, allowances, deductions, overtime, and leave
– Calculate End of Service Benefits (Gratuity) as per UAE Labour Law
– Coordinate with HR on new joiners, visa status changes, resignations, and terminations
– Manage medical insurance, leave salary, and other statutory/contractual benefits
– Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations for Finance and Management
– Respond to employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies promptly
– Stay current on UAE labor law, MOHRE regulations, and WPS updates
Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field
– 2+ years of payroll experience in the UAE (mandatory)
– Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, WPS, and end-of-service calculations
– Experience with SAP SuccessFactors preferred
– Advanced proficiency in Excel and payroll/HR systems
– High attention to detail and confidentiality
– Strong communication and coordination skills
