š Requirements
š¹ Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Medical Records Management, Health Informatics, or any related discipline.
š¹ Two to five years of experience in in-hospital medical coding is preferred.
š¹ Proficiency in the use of Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
š¹ Proficiency in spoken, read, and written English.
š¹ It is preferable to obtain one of the professional certificates.
š Main Functions
š¹ Coding medical diagnoses and procedures using ICD-10-AM and ACHI.
š¹ Review medical records and ensure their completeness and accuracy of medical documentation.
š¹ Adhere to SBS and NPHIES standards, Board of Health Insurance regulations, and hospital policies.
š¹ Support the revenue cycle by reducing claims rejection caused by coding errors.
š¹ Participate in the audit of the quality of coding and achieve the target performance indicators.
š¹ Collaborate with medical and administrative teams to ensure compliance with best practices in medical coding.
