Quantity Surveyor
Job Location : Abu Dhabi, UAE
Key Responsibilities :
• Prepare cost estimates, feasibility studies, and project budgets.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Prepare tender documentation and manage the tendering process.
• Prepare and issue RFQs (Requests for Quotations) based on approved BOQs.
• Evaluate supplier and contractor quotations and prepare tender evaluation reports.
• Support procurement and pre-contract commercial activities.
• Monitor project costs against budgets during the design development stage.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost optimization solutions.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and commercial requirements.
Requirements :
• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, with a strong focus on pre-contract and tendering.
• Proven experience in BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and tender management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, PlanSwift, or other Quantity Surveying software.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
• Experience in infrastructure projects.
• Previous experience in Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) projects will be a distinct advantage.
