Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Location : Sharjah, UAE

Requirements:

• Minimum 10–12 years of overall professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience (mandatory).
• Strong post-contract quantity surveying experience.
• Experience in high-rise building projects is preferred.
• Possess subcontracting resources for building construction projects; the more the better, and preferably with resources in the Sharjah area.
• Capable of preparing subcontract inquiry packages and conducting inquiry work; skilled in subcontract bid comparisons.
• Able to draft subcontract agreements, lead subcontract contract negotiations, and define the responsibility matrix for each work package across all construction (work sequences) in building projects.
• Proficient in calculating monthly subcontract work quantities and reviewing monthly subcontract completion quantities; able to prepare subcontract payment certificates.
• Skilled in coordination and communication during subcontract execution; capable of managing subcontractors to ensure that the number of subcontract workforce personnel meets onsite demands.
• Able to lead correspondence on various issues arising during subcontract processes, including drafting and handling formal letters.
• Competent to take the lead in collecting and organizing documentation related to subcontractor litigation issues and to assist in responding to legal claims.
