Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable & receivable
• Route invoices through the appropriate approval channels in accordance with company policies and authorization procedures.
• Prepare journal entries for general ledger transactions and ensure recording them in due time.
• Ensure all payments are made on time to avoid penalties or disruption to supplier relationships.
• Prepare regular reports on accounts payable status, aging, and outstanding payables.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes related to payables.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and relevant accounting standards.
• Update financial data in databases for accuracy and accessibility
• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors as needed
• Assist with audits and provide required documentation.
• Maintain meticulous financial records and prepare financial reports and statements.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting, finance, or a controlling role.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Experience in the Construction / General Contracting industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with local and international financial regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
