Senior Safety Executive
Job Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Key Duties :
• Oversee complete QHSE operations across chemical depot, logistics, and bulk storage facilities.
• Ensure full alignment with UAE HSE laws, SQAS guidelines, and ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 management frameworks.
• Formulate risk assessments, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), permit-to-work (PTW) protocols, and integrated HSE documentation.
• Direct internal safety audits, incident investigations, emergency response drills, and ISO certification surveillance.
• Interface with government bodies including Dubai Civil Defense, Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, and EHS for chemical permits and safety clearances.
• Chair Safety Committee meetings, monitor third-party equipment inspections, and deliver site-wide HSE training.
Applicant Criteria :
• Educational Credentials: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• HSE Certifications: NEBOSH IGC/Diploma, IOSH, or equivalent; certified Lead/Internal Auditor for ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
• Work Experience: At least 8 years of dedicated QHSE experience, with proven exposure to ISO Tank Depots, Chemical Logistics, Tank Terminals, or dangerous goods (DG) operations.
• Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of UAE environmental laws, SQAS implementation, hazardous chemical protocols, and regulatory licensing.
• Core Competencies: Emergency response leadership, risk mitigation, regulatory audit management, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
