Job Title: Crewing Officer
Location: Dubai, UAE
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure vessels are manned with qualified, competent seafarers in compliance with STCW, MLC, Flag State, and Company SMS requirements.
* Plan and coordinate crew changes, relief schedules, and deployment, including travel, visas, and logistics.
* Screen and verify candidate CVs, certifications, and sea service, coordinating interviews and approvals with Technical and Marine teams.
* Act as the main point of contact between Manning Agents, vessels, and internal departments, monitoring Manning Agent performance and compliance.
* Maintain accurate crew records, certifications, and Flag State endorsements, and support crew welfare, grievances, and incident reporting.
* Support internal audits, TMSA/SIRE preparation, and reporting on crewing KPIs, costs, and Manning Agent performance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Nautical Science or a related field.
3 or more years of experience in crewing or manning within the shipping/maritime industry.
* Strong knowledge of STCW, MLC, Flag State, and SMS requirements.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills in English.
* Proficiency in crewing management systems and MS Office.
