We are seeking an experienced and proactive Presales Engineer to design and propose integrated technology solutions for commercial office projects.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience preparing technical designs, product selections, compliance statements, BOQs, and commercial proposals across the following systems:
Structured cabling systems
Active network equipment
End-user computing solutions
Audio-visual systems for meeting rooms
Background music (BGM) systems
Access control systems
CCTV and video surveillance systems
Key Responsibilities
Understand client requirements and develop technically compliant, cost-effective solutions.
Prepare system designs, technical proposals, BOQs, equipment schedules, compliance statements, and presentations.
Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope requirements.
Select appropriate products from industry-leading brands based on project and budget requirements.
Coordinate proactively with manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, clients, and internal teams.
Obtain quotations, verify technical compliance, and negotiate pricing and lead times.
Identify scope gaps, technical risks, assumptions, exclusions, and value-engineering opportunities.
Support the sales team during client discussions, technical clarifications, and proposal submissions.
Manage multiple opportunities and deliver accurate proposals within demanding deadlines.
Candidate Requirements
Relevant experience in a presales, solution-design, estimation, or technical-proposal role.
Strong knowledge of industry-leading brands and specific product portfolios across ICT, networking, AV, security, and ELV systems.
Practical experience designing solutions for commercial offices.
Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
Proficiency in preparing BOQs, technical submittals, solution diagrams, and commercial proposals.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Hindi.
Comfortable working remotely and coordinating independently with clients and suppliers.
Proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict submission deadlines.
Relevant manufacturer certifications or technical certifications will be an advantage.
