We are looking for an experienced and dedicated ENT Specialist to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ear, nose and throat disorders, ENT diagnosis, medical and surgical management, and comprehensive otolaryngology care, with a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered treatment.
The successful candidate will work closely with audiologists, speech therapists, radiologists, neurologists, pediatricians, allergists, maxillofacial surgeons, and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive ENT consultations and detailed ear, nose, and throat examinations.
Diagnose and manage a broad range of ENT and head & neck conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and diagnostic findings.
Assess and manage patients with hearing problems, ear infections, tinnitus, dizziness, and balance disorders.
Diagnose and treat nasal and sinus conditions including chronic sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, nasal obstruction, and nasal polyps.
Evaluate and manage throat, voice, swallowing, and laryngeal disorders.
Perform appropriate ENT diagnostic procedures within the physician's training and clinical scope.
Perform procedures such as otoscopy, nasal endoscopy, nasoendoscopy, and laryngoscopy where appropriately trained.
Manage common ENT conditions including tonsillitis, adenoid disorders, otitis media, otitis externa, and other ear, nose, and throat infections.
Perform appropriate minor ENT procedures and surgical interventions according to clinical expertise.
Manage patients requiring procedures such as tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, septoplasty, tympanoplasty, and endoscopic sinus surgery where appropriately trained.
Evaluate patients with suspected head and neck masses and coordinate appropriate investigations and specialist referral.
Assess and manage ENT emergencies including epistaxis, foreign bodies, acute infections, and airway-related conditions.
Review and interpret audiological assessments, CT, MRI, X-rays, ultrasound, and other relevant diagnostic investigations.
Coordinate care with audiologists and speech therapists for patients with hearing, communication, voice, and swallowing disorders.
Provide pre-operative assessment and post-operative follow-up for ENT procedures.
Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, procedures, risks, expected outcomes, and follow-up care.
Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and confidential patient records.
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching, and continuing professional development.
Candidate Requirements
MBBS, MD, or equivalent recognized medical qualification.
Recognized postgraduate qualification in Otolaryngology / ENT / Head & Neck Surgery or an equivalent specialty.
Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
Strong experience in general ENT clinical practice.
Good knowledge of both medical and surgical management of ENT conditions.
Strong clinical examination and diagnostic skills.
Ability to manage routine, complex, and emergency ENT cases.
Good knowledge of modern ENT diagnostic procedures and treatment approaches.
Excellent communication and patient-management skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
