We are looking for an experienced and skilled Specialist Endodontist to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in endodontic diagnosis, root canal treatment, dental pulp therapy, management of complex endodontic cases, and preservation of natural teeth, with a commitment to delivering precise, patient-centered dental care.
The successful candidate will work closely with general dentists, prosthodontists, periodontists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, orthodontists, and other members of the multidisciplinary dental team.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive endodontic consultations and detailed dental assessments.
Diagnose pulpal and periapical conditions using clinical examination, dental imaging, and appropriate diagnostic tests.
Develop individualized treatment plans for routine and complex endodontic cases.
Perform conventional and complex root canal treatments using appropriate modern techniques.
Manage teeth with irreversible pulpitis, pulp necrosis, apical periodontitis, and other endodontic conditions.
Perform endodontic treatment on anterior, premolar, and molar teeth according to clinical expertise.
Manage difficult root canal cases involving calcified canals, curved canals, complex anatomy, and previously treated teeth.
Perform endodontic retreatment where clinically indicated.
Manage endodontic emergencies, including acute dental pain, swelling, and dental abscesses.
Perform appropriate vital pulp therapy and other pulp-preserving procedures where indicated.
Diagnose and manage dental trauma and associated pulpal or periapical complications.
Perform procedures using appropriate dental operating microscope, magnification, rotary or reciprocating instrumentation, and advanced endodontic techniques where available.
Use appropriate radiographic and three-dimensional imaging, including CBCT, for complex treatment planning where clinically indicated.
Manage separated instruments, perforations, missed canals, and other procedural complications within clinical expertise.
Provide appropriate pain management and post-operative care following endodontic procedures.
Assess restorability and coordinate definitive restorative treatment with prosthodontists or general dentists.
Refer cases requiring surgical endodontic intervention when appropriate and collaborate with relevant specialists.
Provide clear explanations to patients regarding diagnosis, treatment options, risks, expected outcomes, and follow-up requirements.
Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and confidential dental records.
Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching, and continuing professional development.
Follow applicable UAE healthcare regulations, professional standards, infection-control protocols, and facility policies.
Candidate Requirements
BDS, DDS, DMD, or equivalent recognized dental qualification.
Recognized postgraduate qualification in Endodontics or an equivalent specialty.
Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
Strong experience in routine and complex endodontic treatment.
Demonstrated expertise in root canal treatment and endodontic retreatment.
Good knowledge of modern endodontic techniques, materials, and technologies.
Strong diagnostic and treatment-planning skills.
Excellent attention to detail and clinical precision.
Excellent communication and patient-management skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary dental team.
Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
