SIRA Engineer (1 position)
• Min. 2 years experience in UAE
• UAE Driving License Mandatory
A SIRA Engineer in the UAE is a specialized Extra Low Voltage (ELV) or security systems professional who holds a valid license from the Security Industry Regulatory Agency to design, install, test, and commission security systems in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
System Design: Design compliant CCTV, access control, intrusion alarms, and video management systems using tools like AutoCAD.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all installations strictly follow Dubai's SIRA laws, technical standards, and Video Guard portal guidelines.
Auditing & Inspections: Coordinate site audits and official SIRA inspections to secure regulatory sign-offs.
Documentation: Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), technical layouts, and project cost estimates.
Core Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or Computer Science Engineering (often required to be attested).
Certification: An active or transferable SIRA Security Systems Engineer card/certificate.
Experience: Generally 2 to 5 years of hands-on UAE experience in ELV/security system engineering.
Skills: Strong IP networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, switching) and a valid UAE driving license
