🌟 Qualifications & Requirements
🔹 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
🔹 4–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
🔹 Strong knowledge of cost accounting and manufacturing costing principles.
🔹 Hands-on experience with inventory accounting, inventory valuation, and reconciliation.
🔹 Strong understanding of standard costing, actual costing, and variance analysis.
🔹 Experience analyzing material, labor, overhead, and production costs.
🔹 Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
🔹 Strong Microsoft Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
🔹 Fluent command of English.
🔹 Strong analytical, numerical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
🔹 Ability to work effectively with Finance, Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations teams.
🌟 Key Responsibilities
🔹 Manage and maintain accurate product and manufacturing cost calculations.
🔹 Analyze production costs, material consumption, labor, overhead, and other manufacturing expenses.
🔹 Perform detailed cost variance analysis and investigate significant deviations from budgets and standards.
🔹 Monitor and reconcile raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished-goods inventory.
🔹 Support inventory counts and investigate inventory discrepancies and adjustments.
🔹 Prepare cost reports, profitability analyses, and management reports.
🔹 Support monthly and year-end closing activities related to costing and inventory accounting.
🔹 Maintain and update standard costs and costing structures within the ERP system.
🔹 Work closely with Production and Supply Chain teams to identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency.
🔹 Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing accurate manufacturing cost data.
🔹 Ensure appropriate accounting controls and documentation are maintained for costing and inventory transactions.
🔹 Support internal and external audits by preparing relevant schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
