Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled property underwriter to join our team. As a property underwriter, you will be responsible for evaluating, analysing, and underwriting property insurance proposals to assess risk and determine appropriate coverage and premiums. You will work closely with brokers, BDE's and direct clients to gather necessary U/W information, review survey reports and cladding certifications prepare quotes in line with NGI's underwriting Guidelines and policies.
Responsibilities:
Review the proposals and obtain the complete U/W information of the risk. Decide whether proposal is within the NGI guidelines and U/W policies.
Prepare the quotation in a way that NGI win the business and the terms quoted are within the company's underwriting philosophy. Coordinate with various branches, brokers and BDE's to win the business quoted.
To assist the department in any other task as and when required depending on the operational requirements
Qualifications:
Education: University Graduate/MBA.
Years of Experience: minimum 5 years of experience in General insurance Underwriting
Holding a Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Certificate is an advantage.
