Responsibilities

Upholster furniture, including chairs, sofas, banquettes, ottomans, benches, headboards, and related pieces.

Sew and construct cushions, pillows, slipcovers, window treatments, and other custom soft goods.

Measure, cut, fit, and prepare fabric according to work orders and project specifications.

Apply welt cord, trims, zippers, boxing, panels, pleats, linings, and other finished details.

Work with foam, Dacron, batting, webbing, springs, frames, and other upholstery materials as needed.

Match patterns, align seams, and ensure a clean, professional finish.

Follow written work orders, measurements, design notes, and special instructions.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Communicate clearly with team members and assist with project details as needed.

Previous furniture upholstery experience preferred

Strong sewing skills (industrial sewing machine experience is a plus)

Experience working with couches, cushions, and custom furniture

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Good attention to detail and craftsmanship

Reliable and dependable
