Technical Office Engineer
Job Location : Saudi Arabia
Key Responsibilities :
• Review contract documents, specifications, drawings, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Prepare shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Review and coordinate engineering designs with consultants and subcontractors.
• Prepare material submittals, technical submittals, and method statements for client approval.
• Assist in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and budget monitoring.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely sourcing of approved materials and equipment.
• Prepare Requests for Information (RFIs), Technical Queries (TQs), and Requests for Inspection (RFIs).
• Monitor design revisions and maintain document control.
• Support project planning by preparing work schedules, resource plans, and progress reports.
• Coordinate with site engineers to resolve technical issues and ensure proper implementation of drawings.
• Review subcontractor technical submissions and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical recommendations.
• Assist in variation orders, claims, and project close-out documentation.
Qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Typically 3–8 years of experience in a technical office or project engineering role within the construction industry.
• Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and construction documentation is an advantage.

• Document management systems (Aconex, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar)
